Southbrae Enterprises began in the early 1990s with a single International Tandem feed truck servicing a local mill. By 1997 the need for agricultural commodity transport had grown and a highway tractor was purchased. Between 1997 and 2002 four more trucks and trailers were purchased and Southbrae began work as an owner-operator for a local transport company.

In 2002, Southbrae Enterprises returned to its independent roots and began to establish its own strong customer base and has been growing steadily since then.
